When Energy Calls, You Answer
Sometimes, you just feel it—you know you have to go. That’s exactly what happened when I left Madrid at 8 PM, arriving in Nazaré at 2 AM, just in time to catch the Hermina storm at sunrise.
It was an adventure from the start—figuring out where to sleep, dealing with missing equipment, and running purely on adrenaline. I spent almost 9 hours shooting non-stop, without a tripod, holding my camera the entire time. By the end, my arms were destroyed, but the feeling was unbeatable.
The effort paid off. I captured the best wave of the day with Nic Von Rupp, and he loved the sequence so much that he bought it. Moments like these are why I do what I do. So here it is, frozen in time—forever. 🌊📸🔥
